Terms and Conditions

We never disclose personal information like names, passport numbers, birth dates, addresses, telephone numbers, emails or website addresses, or any other information used to identify individuals; for the purpose and use of other parties, for any reason. We solely use this information for our own records in case of emergency matters while you are traveling with us in Morocco, and use the latest firewall and security software. Morocco Explored is not liable for any unlawful disclosure of any personal information obtained by or from outside sources. (See also COMPLAINTS below).

No refund can be made to you if you cancel your booked holiday, or if you leave before the tour is completed. The deposit can be transferred towards the cost of another holiday, providing it occurs within 1 year of the holiday originally booked, and, if at least 31 days notice is given in the event of your cancellation. If the tour sells out and your place is sold, we will refund the full deposit.

If for unforeseen circumstances WE choose to cancel a tour or trek, your payment will be fully refunded* or you can choose another tour option.
*Minus up to 4% Paypal charge if applicable.

ITINERARY CHANGES
We are able to arrange a variety of itinerary activities and are flexible while you are enroute, but the hotel stays are not changeable once the tour starts.

TOUR CONFIRMATION
Your deposit receipt confirms your booking dates, and your tour or trek price.

LIABILITY
Although we strive to maintain safe journeys and honor our commitments and promises, land-based arrangements are made by Morocco Explored on condition that Morocco Explored is not liable for your decision to cancel or change agreed itineraries resulting in extra costs.

Morocco Explored SARL, Morocco Explored transport touristic infrastructure, or any person who is in the employ of Morocco Explored SARL is not liable for any injury (including death), accidents, loss, damage, too much fun, or events beyond our control.

COMPLAINTS
We really do appreciate feedback, but we are not responsible for complaints made after your tour ends. If you have a problem, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer a solution. Please do not wait until you return home and then tell us there was something wrong. We can be reached by telephone from almost anywhere in Morocco, but a formal complaint needs to be in writing as well.

Refunds will be honored if it has been determined that Morocco Explored has failed to provide what has been described and understood as part of the itinerary, and is not at fault if failure is due to circumstances beyond our control or influence ie: weather, infrastructure failures, breakdowns of equipment or vehicles, or personal opinions about food, personalities, comfort, etc. We will also not be responsible after the fact if not given the opportunity by you and notified in a timely fashion, to remedy the situation.

Please note: Internet currency exchange conversions do not reflect actual bank conversion rates, they show worldwide money market trading prices. We convert foreign currency to dirhams using the Bank Al Magrib exchange rates in Morocco. Concerning disagreements about conversion rates, the Morocco Bank Al Magrib posted rate shall be the deciding factor.

Please remember that the country you are traveling is poor and still developing, things change, roads are slow, activities stop running or change format and weather can send the best laid plans out the door. We will do our best to provide what is planned and offer alternatives, but please take into consideration the nature of the journey that you are embarking on, and understand that a certain degree of flexibility is necessary!

IMPORTANT THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW . . .

Travel Insurance
Although we do not require it before you book with us, it's always a good precaution, and should be obtained before leaving your country of origin. Moroccan hospitals have limited diagnostic capability. Foreign run clinics are extensive, but can be expensive. Liability laws in Morocco follow the French model, where you are expected to insure yourself for any accidents. Buying travel insurance is recommended. World Nomads offers good extendable coverage and excellent service for medical and personal property.

Immunisation
Morocco is generally free from pandemic disease, but professional medical advice for updating your shots should be obtained at home before entering Morocco. Some shots take several weeks or longer to be effective. Do not delay.

Passport
Your passport must be valid for 6 months after your first day of entry into Morocco.

Arrival and Departure
You are fully responsible for your arrival and departure arrangements to and from Morocco, or if you decide to leave the tour early. However, you are welcome to arrive early or leave later, at your own expense. Morocco Explored can help arrange land transport or hotel stays in Morocco.
